A Bit About Me
I am a self-motivated and dedicated Ph.D. student at the School of Information Science and Learning Technologies at the University of Missouri, United States. With an interdisciplinary background in English Language & Literature (B.A.), Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL, M.A.), and Learning Technologies and Design (M.Sc.), I bring a wealth of diverse perspectives to my academic and professional pursuits.

My primary research interests are deeply rooted in my decade of experience as a language instructor and five years of professional publishing experience as a content developer for leveled readers, focusing on language and literacy development for K–12 and adult learners. My research centers on the transformative potential of artificial intelligence (AI) in education, with a particular focus on integrating AI to virtual learning environment and personalize learning experiences. Guided by a philosophical belief in the power of technology to enhance human capital—students, educators, and the workforce—I explore human-computer interaction through a positive psychological lens, employing mixed and multi-method research methodologies. My work seeks to bridge the gap between emerging technologies and learners’ evolving needs, ensuring that educational solutions are equitable, accessible, and pedagogically sound.

Driven by a passion for preparing individuals and systems for future educational changes, I am guided by a central question: How can we harness the power of technology to proactively equip students, educators, and the workforce to adapt to and thrive in an ever-changing future? This website showcases my previous work, current projects, and future aspirations. Let’s connect and collaborate to explore the possibilities of shaping the future of education together!
