Teaching Philosophy
My teaching philosophy is centered on empowering students with the competencies needed to navigate real-world challenges while inspiring them to become proactive and positive change agents. By fostering a learning environment that promotes critical thinking, adaptability, and resilience, I aim to equip students with both technical and transferable skills essential for career readiness and lifelong learning.
To achieve this, I integrate evidence-based instructional strategies that enhance engagement, accessibility, and applied learning:
• Collaborative Problem-Based Learning (CPBL): Encouraging students to work together on complex, real-world problems to develop critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Universal Design for Learning (UDL): Creating an inclusive and flexible learning environment that accommodates diverse learning needs, ensuring that all students can access, engage with, and express their understanding of course content.
By incorporating these frameworks, I strive to foster an educational experience that is student-centered, inclusive, and future-oriented, preparing learners not only for academic success but also for meaningful contributions in their careers and communities.

always precedes reading the word,
and reading the word
implies continually reading the world.”
